A Delegation from Soran University visits the University of Dohuk
A delegation from Soran University (SU), led by its President AP. Dr. Sherwan Sharif Qurtas, accompanied by members of the University Council, visited the University of Dohuk (UOD) on Thursday, January 30, 2025. They were received by UOD President AP. Dr. Dawood Sulaiman Atrushi and members of the UOD Council.
This reciprocal visit follows a UOD delegation's visit to Soran University on December 12, 2024.
President Atrushi and the UOD Council welcomed the SU delegation, expressing their pleasure at the visit. Soran University President AP.Dr Sherwan Sharif Qurtas, on behalf of SU, thanked the UOD Presidency for the warm welcome.
The meeting featured presentations from both universities. UOD presented a seminar on its institutionalization process, while SU highlighted its activities, events, and development efforts.
Both universities concluded the meeting by agreeing to continue visits and comprehensive coordination to develop and expand academic, scientific, and administrative relations to serve higher education in general and both institutions in particular.
