A Soran University Delegation visits the Rawanduz Administrative District A delegation from Soran Universit

headed by AP. Dr.  Sherwan Sharif Qartas, President of Soran University (SU), visited Rawanduz Administrative District on Wednesday 22 January 2025 and was welcomed by Ahmad Qadir, Rawanduz Mayor, and other administrative officials. 
During the meeting, the mayor of Rawanduz welcomed the SU delegation and expressed his pleasure for the visit. For his part, the SU President expressed his delight in visiting the mayor of Rawanduz and underscored the historical, geographical, social, cultural, and artistic importance of the Rawanduz district.
SU President pointed out that the university and service agencies complement each other, the university considers it its duty to help in offering advice to the service agencies and to implement service projects in an innovative scientific way.
Furthermore, the two sides agreed to continue visits, comprehensive relations, and multiple coordination, to carry out joint activities to take care of and publicize the Rawandz region in terms of history, geography, culture, politics, economics, architecture, tourism, and art.
In conclusion, the two sides emphasized the significance of SU conducting academic and scientific courses for employees of service agencies, to develop their skills and perform their duties academically, and benefit from the expertise of the university's experts in various fields.
