A workshop on General Education is Held at Soran University
In coordination with Ishik & Nilufar College, and the Soran General Education Directorate, Soran University organized the 4th Education and Teaching Workshop 2024 Per - ICET.on Monday, 28 October 2024.
The event was attended by AP. Dr. Sherwan Sharif Qurtas, President of Soran University, and a number of experts and academics in the field of education. The fourth educational workshop was entitled: "World Class in Embracing Innovation and Challenges".
Ishik College organizes an annual educational conference in Erbil. For this purpose, and in preparation for organizing several workshops in groups across Iraq, this year the cities of Baghdad, Basra, Kirkuk, and Soran were chosen to hold the workshops. The fourth workshop was held at Soran University, where several education experts participated, discussed a number of topics, and expressed their views and opinions, which became the main basis for the general conference on education.
Some of the most important topics discussed were: Vocational education, artificial intelligence, teacher-student interaction, teacher-parent relationship, teacher preparation for the learning process, and providing a suitable environment for students. At the end of the workshop, each group will appoint a person to represent the group and take part as a panelist at the General Education Conference in Erbil.
