The Second First Aid Course is held at Soran University
On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, in the presence of AP. Dr. Sherwan Sharif Qurtas, President of Soran University, the second first aid course was conducted at Soran University. The course was taught by Dr. Samir Ahmed Usti Muhammad, Health and Safety Director of Soran University, and Dr. Hunar Rebwar Mustafa, Emergency Medicine Specialist. One hundred teachers, staff, and students from Soran University participated in the event.
The, participants were trained theoretically in the course on how to provide first aid to those in need during emergencies. In addition, it explained practically how to help and rescue people involved in accidents.
It is worth mentioning that this course is organised by the Health and Safety Directorate of Soran University, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Health of Soran and the Emergency Medicine Association of Kurdistan, at an advanced level, for teachers, staff and students from Soran University,i n order to increase the familiarisation and training on first aid.
