A Soran University Teacher Earns a High Academic Title

On Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, AP.Dr. Hiwa Balisani, a lecturer and former Dean of Faculty of Education- Soran University,  has been awarded the scientific title “ Principal Fellow” in Great Britain, the highest  scientific title a person can obtain in that country.

Balisani earned this title from “Advance HE” Foundation, which has more than 195,000 members in 116 countries.

Balisani is one of only two individuals in Iraq who hold this title.
