Soran University to Host "Halabja: A Wound in the Memory of a Resistant Nation" Symposium


A Multi-faceted Analysis of the Chemical Attack on Halabja
On Sunday, March 16, 2025, Soran University's Faculty of Law, Political Science, and Administration, in collaboration with the Faculty of Education, will host the "Halabja: A Wound in the Memory of a Resistant Nation" symposium.
Symposium Agenda:
1- 11:00 AM: A moment of silence will be observed in front of the Faculty of Arts and Law building to honor the victims of the Halabja chemical attack.
2- 11:15 AM: The event will commence with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Mr. Sirwan Majid.
3- A speech will be presented by the President of Soran University.
4- 11:40 AM: Panel discussions will begin.
