Soran University Wraps Up its two-day “the Second Workforce Development Forum in Kurdistan Region”

Soran University's Career Development Center (CDC)  concluded its two-day “The Second Workforce Development Forum In Kurdistan Region", on Wednesday, February 19th, 2025. The event was attended by the university’s  council members, faculty, students, a number of career development centers in Kurdistan Region universities, and entrepreneurs. 
In the forum, experts, researchers, and educators focused on promoting entrepreneurial ideas and stimulating economic growth, discussing ways to prepare the workforce, the entrepreneurial mindset, young entrepreneurs and innovators and entrepreneurial ideas. They also discussed how to solve issues and obstacles among youth, on the other hand, accessing financial security, analysing the market and challenges such as: Limited resources and cultural barriers and providing solutions.
The second of the forum featured three panel discussions.
The first panel: Vision and Mission of the Companies and Organizations for Entrepreneurial Mindset

As part of the forum,  two students from Soran University also shared their success stories in the field of entrepreneurship.

Later, Dr. Rizgar Saeed Hussein,  SU President's Assistant for Student Affairs and Head of the forum's organizing committee, awarded certificates of participation to the panelists and panel  moderators.

Finally, Lect.  Abdul Ghaffar Aziz read the recommendations of “the Second Workforce Development Forum in Kurdistan Region” , which will be presented to the relevant stakeholders.
