Soran University Honors Retiring Faculty and Staff
On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, Soran University held a ceremony to honor and express gratitude to several faculty and staff members who have reached retirement age. The event was attended by SU President AP.Dr. Sherwan Sharif Qurtas, members of the University Council, faculty, and staff.
During the ceremony, the SU President delivered a speech in which he expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the retirees and hoped that after retirement, they would continue to serve and provide science and knowledge to the university and society alike, as they did in the past and left their clear imprint on the development and progress of the university. He pointed out that Soran University will remain their greater home.
The retirees, in turn, expressed their gratitude for this attention they have received from the SU Presidency and wished the University continued success. They emphasized their willingness to work voluntarily whenever SU needs them.
As a token of appreciation, the University President awarded Soran University's shield of appreciation and loyalty to the retired teachers and employees.

4. Prof. Dr Ebtisam Mustafa Kamal Mahmoud, Faculty of Engineering.
5. Prof. Dr Faleh Jaaz Shalash, Faculty of Education
