Soran University Launches E-Project for Scientific Promotion for Teachers
On Sunday, January 19, 2025, in a ceremony attended by the President of Soran University, Sherwan Sharif Qurtas, members of the University Council, heads of scientific departments, and teachers, the Scientific promotion project electronically for teachers was announced.
At the beginning of the event, the SU President delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendees, stating: "Today is a momentous day because we are announcing two projects in our university on the same day. The first is the opening of the public library of Soran University, after renovating it in a special, unique, advanced, and modern way, and putting it at the service of teachers and students, a work that will contribute to serving science lovers and students more, and a motive for developing reading culture among students.
The second project is the announcement of the scientific promotion of teachers electronically, which represents one of the most important projects of the university, through this advanced system, it will enter another phase, and conduct business more transparently step by step through these projects."
On this occasion, the University President congratulated himself and all university staff on the achievement of these two projects, praising all those who contributed to the implementation of the two significant projects.
Later, Renas Faruq Qader, Director of the Information Technology (IT) Directorate at Soran University, and Taban Saydawan, an IT expert presented a seminar in which they gave the attendees all the necessary information about the project, including information on how to operate and the steps of registration.
P.S: This project is the first in the Kurdistan Region to be created and put at the service of the scientific process, this project is specific to the Directorate of Information Technology at Soran University, and was created by a team of three people, Renas FarouQ Qadir, Rekan Nemat Aula, and Taban Saydawan. The project will bring many benefits to teachers, including: Making all promotion steps electronic, through this system, users will be able to save more time and their work will be completed in the shortest possible time, while at the same time, they will be fully informed of the process, which includes information and step-by-step procedures.
