A Soran University Teacher publishes a Book

Hunar Anwar Mamsofi, a teacher in the Kurdish department in the Faculty of Education- Soran University has published a book entitled “ The Structural Analysis of Kurdish Tales”.This book is essentially a master's thesis on the narrative theory of  the storyteller Vladimir Propp.

In his book, the author aims to provide greater clarity to folklore and storytelling for interested people, so that they become more familiar with the principles of theory and also analyze the structure of the Kurdish storytelling of this theory. Furthermore,  the author aims to establish the similarities between Kurdish stories and Vladimir Propp's theory of storytelling, in terms of defining the position of Kurdish stories within the framework of universal principles.
