A delegation of Russian researchers and academics visits Soran University

Following the participation of many Russian researchers and academics in the international conference "The Role and Influence of Russian Orientalists in the Introduction of Kurds and the Kurdistan Cause" organized jointly by the Soran University and the Institute of Oriental Studies (Russian Academy of Sciences) on 29-30th, September 2024 in Erbil, the capital city of Kurdistan Region, on Tuesday, October Ist, 2024, several Russian researchers and academics visited Soran University.

In a meeting attended by AP.Dr. Sherwan Sharif Qurtas, President of Soran University, he extended his thanks to the Russian researchers and experts for their active participation in the conference. He highlighted the importance of the conference and the role and influence of Russian orientalists. The meeting also discussed joint work and projects between Soran University and academic centers in Russia. In this regard, several ideas and initiatives were presented, and several practical steps were discussed that are scheduled to be worked on in the coming stages.
