A Soran University Teacher publishes a Book in History

Ahmed Abdul Rahman Ahmed, a lecturer at the Department of History, Faculty of Arts, Soran University, has published a book entitled "Prisoners during the Reign of Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi, 567-589 AH/1171-1193 AD". The book discusses Salahuddin Ayyubi's attitudes towards prisoners, especially the Crusaders who fought against him and later fell into his hands.

This book is originally a master's thesis in which the author explains the concept of the prisoner and discusses captives and captivity from several perspectives.

In his book, the author aims to present Salahuddin's methods and behavior toward his opponents' prisoners, especially the Crusader captives, their leaders, and the kings, who Saladin captured.
