A High-level Academic Delegation from Tehran University Visits Soran University

On Sunday, February 2, 2025, a high-level academic delegation from Tehran University, led by Dr. Ahmad Naqibzadeh, visited Soran University. They were warmly welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sherwan Sharif Qurtas, President of Soran University, and the university council members.
The visit included a panel discussion organized by the Social Department of the Faculty of Arts at Soran University. The event was held in the Ismail Beshkchi Hall. The panel was titled "A Reading of the Political Situation in Kurdistan from the Perspective of Political Sociology."
At the beginning of the panel, Dr. Sherwan Sharif Qurtas, President of Soran University, welcomed the guest delegation and expressed his pleasure at the visit of the renowned sociologist and researcher of Iran and the region, Dr. Ahmad Naqibzadeh, and his accompanying delegation.
During the panel, Dr. Ahmad Naqibzadeh, Dr. Jawad Shaarbaf, and Siamak Bahrami presented their perspectives on the political and social situation in the Kurdistan Region from a socio-political viewpoint.
Following the presentations, an open discussion allowed the audience to ask questions and offer comments.

Finally, Dr. Sherwan Sharif Qurtas, President of Soran University, presented the Soran University Shield to the Tehran University delegation.
