Soran University Council meets with Heads of Scientific Departments
On Thursday, February 20, 2025, the Soran University Council, chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sherwan Sharif Qurtas, President of Soran University, met with all heads of scientific departments.
The meeting focused on the accreditation process of Soran University, which was selected by the Accreditation Association to undergo this process. Discussions centered on developing a roadmap and initiating practical procedures and preparations to ensure Soran University enters the accreditation process effectively.
The meeting also stressed the importance of implementing the Accreditation Association's procedures and guidelines according to a scientific roadmap, enabling Soran University to successfully advance to the accreditation stage.
Notably, on February 12, 2025, the Accreditation Association conducted a workshop at Soran University on the accreditation process for centers and programs of education and higher education in the Kurdistan Region. As a first step, Soran University was chosen to begin the accreditation process.
